WARANGAL: Forest department has organised tented accommodation for visitors to Medaram by involving the local youths. As many as 100 tents were set up in a one acre area beside Jampanna vagu to be given on rental basis at Rs 2000 for 24 hours and Rs 1000 per 12 hours.
District forest officer T Ravi Kiran said that these tents will be used for eco-tourism activities in Bhupalpalli district after the completion of the jatara. “Five persons can stay in each tent. There is water facility and one mobile toilet has been arranged for ten tents. Fire extinguishers have also been kept ready in case of a fire accident,” he said.
