According to sources, the Turangi Panchayat had laid the road at Mahalakhmi Nagar area at a cost of Rs.6 lakh. But followers of Mr Kondababu allegedly destroyed the road with proclainer. Panchayat officials lodged a complaint against the act with Indrapalem police. Sub-Inspector Ramarao said that a case was filed under Section 427 (Trespas and destruction of public property road). But he said that the accused have not been identified it. He also said that the Revenue Officials have to give report on it whether the land belongs to the government or private.
