Irked BS Yeddyurappa to meet Amit shah

BJP president, Amit Shah has decided to intervene in Karnataka's affairs.

Bengaluru: Irked over the standoff with party colleague and senior leader K S Eshwarappa, state BJP president B.S.Yeddyurappa said on Wednesday that he will meet party president Amit Shah and explain all developments in the state unit.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr. Yeddyurappa hesitated to reply to questions about the on-going war of words between Mr Eshwarappa and himself. "I have decided not to speak about that issue. I have confidence that we will resolve the differences within four walls of our party office, so I do not want to discuss about internal matters in public. During the budget session of parliament, I will definitely meet our president Mr Amit Shah and discuss all developments. I request party workers not to write any letters to the central leadership. If they write letters to central leaders, it is not correct," Mr. Yeddyurappa replied in response to a question.

MHe declined to speak a word about his bête noire Mr. Eshwarappa's repeated statements against him and his 'autocratic style' of functioning. "Since I have am not worried about present developments, why should you (scribes) worry?", he asked. He reiterated that party cadre should not attend Sangolli Rayanna Brigade mega rally on January 26.
