Hyderabad: CCS police took three people into custody over the Logicash scam, but no arrest has been made yet. Probe officials said they were ascertaining the role of the detainees in the disappearance of huge cash. The petitioner had alleged that 22 people were involved in the offence, while the police could not confirm whether or not all these men played roles in the alleged embezzlement.
“Roles of three to four people are being examined. They are being grilled. In the next two days, we will get a clear idea as to how many are involved and they will be arrested,” a source said.
Police said the custodians of Logicash, K. Nagaraju and C. Srinivas, along with other members of their team, short-filled Rs 1.4 crore over 41 ATMs and embezzled the money.
