Vijayawada: Youths are taking to the streets to endorse Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's developmental initiatives in Andhra Pradesh.
The YSRC students wing in Vijayawada on Friday echoed the achievements of the YSRC government in a rally in which students from various educational institutions participated in large numbers.
The rally led by its state president Panuganti Chaitanya highlighted the achievements of the government in various sectors spanning the economy, agriculture, industries, housing and healthcare.
The event showcased robust endorsement of the developmental strides made in the educational sector, especially for local colleges and schools over the past four and a half years.
YSRC SW president Chaitanya said the initiatives such as AmmaVodi, Nadu-Nedu, Gorumudda, English Medium, BYJUs Tabs and IFP panels were aimed at fostering educational development. “The underlying concept is that education can significantly impact the lives of the underprivileged,” he said.
The student leader said the Jagananna Vidya Deevena, the Jagananna Vasati Deevena and the Skill Development programmes including a mandatory internship for students have modernised the higher education system in AP. Internship and skill development programmes largely helped students to hone their skills and get suitable employment, he claimed.
