Hyderabad: Telangana cuisine on the table for Taj Falaknuma dinner

Hyderabad: The dinner menu at Taj Falaknuma will be different for those seated at the 101-table, compared to the 1,500 delegates who will be served dinner on the lawn which will be a buffet. Executive chef Sajesh Nair, of the Taj Falaknuma, is heading a team working on the dinner.

Organisers, tight-lipped about the menu, revealed that “The 101-table at Falaknuma G+2 table, is slated to have two or three dishes on Telangana cuisine and fruits are being procured from across India. A detailed report of the menu will be released in a preliminary meet on Monday, or the Taj group will announce it post the dinner date.”

The menu is yet to get a head up from the Union home ministry, and food will be tested first by the forensic science team. The organisers have got a heads up on Mr Ratan Tata, however, Mr Mukesh Ambani’s office is yet to confirm.

The dinner at Golconda on November 29, is being organised by Chief Minister Mr Chandrashekar Rao, most VVIP will give it a miss as they will exit earlier in the day.

The breakfast meet on November 30 by the TS government, IT Minister K. T Rama Rao to take lead.
