Hyderabad: 150 additional CCTV cameras installed

Officials said that around 2,200 police officials will be deployed for the summit.

Hyderabad: A coordination meeting was held by the Hyderabad police to discuss arrangements pertaining to the upcoming Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES). The schedule for the three-day event was finalised. Officials said that around 2,200 police officials will be deployed for the summit.

V.V. Srinivasa Rao, Commissioner of Hyderabad, said, “Seating arrangements for the dinner, which would be as per protocol, would be decided by M. Jayesh Ranjan. “There will be over 100 guests at the G+ 2 level. The other 2,000 guests will be seated in the lawn area,” said Mr Rao.

The police have installed 150 additional CCTV cameras at important vantage points. “The 150 cameras are in addition to the existing thousands in the city. The South Zone police will carry out surveillance and the Hyderabad Police will monitor the feed from the command control room here,” said Mr Rao.
