Kurnool: The sub-committee to make gazette notification on Krishna Water Management Board (KRMB) operational met at the Srisailam Project site for the fourth time on Monday.
Committee members visited components of Srisailam dam complex, which will be handed over to KRMB. They inspected Handri Neeva Sujala Sravanthi (HNSS) Lift Scheme, Muchumarri Lift Irrigation Scheme, Pothireddypadu Head Regulator and Srisailam Reservoir Main Canal (SRMC).
The sub-committee interacted with local officials and collected details of water levels. Thereafter, they reached Srisailam temple town for their overnight stay.
An irrigation official said team members will visit Srisailam Reservoir on Tuesday to observe Srisailam project spillway, river slues, Srisailam right and left bank power houses, office complex, and the camp colony at Sunnipenta.
