Jayalalithaa death probe panel gets 4-month extension
The state government has already extended the tenure of the commission twice in December 2017 and June 2018.
Chennai: The state government on Wednesday extended the term of Justice Arumughaswamy enquiry commission, probing the death of former Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa, for another four months.
The one-man probe panel was formed in September last year. The state government has already extended the tenure of the commission twice in December 2017 and June 2018. It is the third extension for the commission which was formed to inquire into the hospitalization and subsequent death of former Chief Minister in December 2016.
So far several senior bureaucrats, close aides, household staff from Jayalalithaa’s Poes Garden residence and multiple doctors to testified before the panel and new details have been reported.
