Hyderabad: Bad roads make it hell for users at Gachibowli
Hyderabad: The bad condition of the road near Infosys, Gachibowli, is making it difficult for motorists to drive.
The road is riddled with craters and potholes. People taking the U-turn are the worst affected because of the road damage at that particular spot.
A techie, Mr Praveen Kumar, said, “This road witnesses a lot of traffic and vehicles trying to dodge craters has become a usual sight. Lakhs of techies commute each day on this road. A well-maintained road will help us reach our destination quickly.”
Another techie, Ms M. Sangamitra, said, “All we need is a better road as it will help us reach our office quickly. It would be helpful if the road repairs are taken up quickly without further deterioration.”
An official with the TS Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Industrial Area Local Authority (IALA) said that within a week all the patchwork in the financial district would be completed.
The official said, “We have called tenders for repair work not only on this road, but across the financial district the under jurisdiction of the TSIIC. Within a week, the work will be started and potholes filled up.”
