Hyderabad: An email sent by Sana Iqbal to her friends detailing how she was being tortured by her husband has gone viral after her death.
“Hi. I am writing this message to you and some more people who will be my witness if anything happens to me. I work in night shifts and by the time I return home the time is 3 am. Nadeem is extremely talented and deserves a round of applause because he successfully scared my mother enough that she is leaving the city and relocating to Chennai so that Nadeem does not harass her anymore.
She doesn't want to have any connections with me as I married a man who was always cheap and would always create a scene on the roads for smallest of things. She helped me to the maximum extent, especially when I was pregnant. Read on to know why,” (sic) her email begins.
She goes on to describe in detail, with dates and times, incidents of harassment by her husband Nadeem. She talks about how he insulted her as well as her mother, using vulgar, abusive language.
She also speaks about how she was tortured and abused by Nadeem and his 16-year-old sister after the birth of her son Ali. In conclusion, she warns her friends that if she happens to suddenly die of a seemingly natural cause such as a heart attack, then it should not be taken lightly.
