Archaeological Survey of India report on temple sought

Two weeks of the steps taken to protect and maintain the historical Ramappa temple in Jayashankar-Bhupalapalli district.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday directed the Archaeological Survey of India to inform it within two weeks of the steps taken to protect and maintain the historical Ramappa temple in Jayashankar-Bhupalapalli district.

A division bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice M. Ganga Rao was dealing with a taken up PIL based on a letter by Justice P. Naveen Rao with regard to serious threat to the existence of the temple in view of the improper maintenance.
