Bengaluru: Expressing grief over the death of former Union minister Arun Jaitley, former external affairs minister S M Krishna said on Saturday the veteran BJP leader has left an indelible impression with deft handling of issues related to demonetization and the contentious GST Bill.
In a statement released to the media here, Mr Krishna said in Mr Jaitley's demise, the nation has lost a “thinking politician with exceptional leadership qualities.”
The former chief minister recalled Mr Jaitley's ability to mingle with ease with politicians of other parties. “MPs of all parties could interact with him on friendly terms,” Mr Krishna added.
