Jagan Mohan Reddy reviews Krishna river flood situation
VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy reviewed the Krishna flood situation and the prevailing controversy over reverse tendering of Polavaram Project and the legal implications along with a team of officials concerned and a few Cabinet colleagues at his residence at Tadepalli, in Guntur district, on Saturday.
After winding up his tour to the US, the CM arrived in Hyderabad and from there, he flew to Gannavaram Airport and reached home.
Ministers Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, Anil Kumar Yadav and several officials met the CM and briefed about the prevailing developments in the state. The CM is learnt to have inquired about AP High Court’s stay order on reverse tendering of Polavaram Hydro-electric Power Project and other issues.
Meanwhile, the officials concerned briefed him about the steps being taken up on Krishna floods and also the extent of impact on crops and human habitation.
