Kochi: A fire broke out at the residence of former Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth, at Edappally here in the wee hours of Saturday.

The incident took place on the ground floor of the house at around 2 am. The hall and a bedroom in the ground floor were gutted. However none of the inmates suffered any injuries, the police said.
