Hyderabad: Former Member of Parliament Vijayashanthi has reportedly decided to write to AICC president Rahul Gandhi, opposing an alliance with TD in the ensuing elections. Ms Vijayashanthi told a few Congress leaders that if they go for alliances with TD, the Congress will have to pay a heavy price.
She said that for many unsolved issues in AP after the state bifurcation are due to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. She said that with the alliance, Congress will lose in Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Warangal districts. Ms Vijayashanthi added that some Congress leaders are misleading the high command on this issue.
