Telangana CM calls on party leaders to take up land survey

Mr Chandrasekhar Rao will also take the responsibility of three villages and monitor the land survey.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is gearing up party leaders to ensure that the comprehensive land survey being done from September 15 goes off flawlessly.

Mr Rao has convened a joint meeting of party MPs, MLAs and MLCs on August 26 at Telangana Bhavan to assign roles and responsibilities for each elected member.

Mr Rao has been giving utmost priority to the land survey being taken up after a gap of over 80 years to end land disputes in the state. The survey is expected to cover every square inch of land.

He asked all elected representatives to attend the meeting which will also discuss about the formation of the farmers associations at the village, mandal and district levels.

Mr Rao asked leaders to take the responsibility of three villages each for supervising the progress of the survey and updation of revenue records.

Mr Chandrasekhar Rao will also take the responsibility of three villages and monitor the land survey.
