Adilabad: Opposition parties and Rythu Sangham leaders on Wednesday staged a protest in front of the ITDA, Utnoor over the podu land issue.

Leaders of CPI (ML- New Democracy), CPI and CPM and Adivasi Girijana Sangham, Telangana Jana Samiti and Adivasi Mahila Sangam leader's criticised the state government for evicting adivasis from their lands.
The leaders demanded the state government implement the Forest Rights Act, 2006 effectively and give Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima and crop loans to the forest lands being cultivated by adivasis and non- tribals.
