Bengaluru: Tree falls on parked school van in Banaswadi, none hurt

Bengaluru: A day after a horrific accident of a coconut tree falling on a woman leading to her death in Mumbai, a similar incident was reported in Banaswadi on Monday morning. A big tree fell on a parked school van, but luckily no one was inside.

The bus driver after parking the van on roadside had gone to have tea before picking up school children from their houses.

The incident occurred around 7 am. Meanwhile, a man who was on a morning stroll along with his two children had a miraculous escape as the tree fell moments after they crossed the area, an eyewitness said.
