Ease agony of Agri Gold victims: CM Chandrababu Naidu
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed the experts committee on Agri Gold cases and also the CID chief to speed up the auction process of the Agri Gold assets, in order to provide relief to the victims.
Participating in a review meeting on Agri Gold at his residence on Sunday, Mr Naidu felt that the auction process needed more speedy approach and the victims should be paid compensation as per the legal provisions, after realisation of attached assets.
The Chief Minister told the officials that people should gain confidence over the system and hence the process of auction and realisation should take place at the earliest.
DGP (in-charge) N. Sambasiva Rao, CID chief Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, intelligence chief A.B. Venkateswara Rao, principal secretary Sateesh Chandra, members of the experts committee on Agri Gold – Kutumba Rao and Narasimha Rao were present.
