The helpline is open from 10 am to 5 pm.
Last year, the helpline received some 8,000 calls from plus-2 state board students and 10,000 calls from class 10 students.
Hyderabad: Days after the civil supplies department made it mandatory for the consumer helpline number to be displayed at all shops and commercial outlets, it remains unreachable to multiple consumers.
“Our staff has reported no such issues,” said Mr Yesu Ratnam, joint commissioner of civil supplies, when asked about some consumers complaining that their calls could not get processed. The helpline is open from 10 am to 5 pm. Consumers can lodge their complaints on 1800-425-00333.
