Hyderabad: The city lake police rescued two people from committing suicide by jumping into Hussainsagar on Wednesday. On Wednesday afternoon, a woman was seen moving suspiciously near Hussainsagar, when she wanted to jump into the lake, the lake police rescued her. She was then sent to the police station for counselling.
Upon enquiry, the police came to know that the woman was being harassed her husband for the past few months. Depressed with this, she wanted to end her life. The woman was counselled and handed over to her parents.
In an another incident, a man who had jumped into the lake was rescued by the lake police and was sent to the police station for couselling. The manwas suffering with health issues. Depressed because of this, he wanted to end his life. The victim was counselled and handed over to his family members.
