Council Dy chair hurls bottles at MLA

KAKINADA: A spat between AP Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Reddy Subrahmanyam and YSRC MLA Chirla Jaggireddy got out of hand, with the former at one stage hurling water bottles at the latter, during a Zilla Parishad general body meeting here on Thursday.

The two began accusing each other of being involved in illegal sand mining soon after the meeting began and condolences were paid to the 19 victims of the recent boat mishap. Their accusations turned into an argument that got heated by the minute.

While Mr Jaggireddy hurled papers at the chair, Mr Reddy Subrahmanyam hurled water bottles at the MLA.
