Rajahmundry: Income tax sleuths are carrying out raids on houses of several businessmen, realtors, moneylenders and others at several places at Amalapuram in East Godavari in the last two days.
The I-T officials formed into several teams and raided the houses of targeted persons simultaneously. They raided the house of realtor and shrimp businessman Nimmakayala Satyanaryana and shrimp hatcheries owned by him at Kodurupadu of Allavaram mandal and reportedly seized some documents.
The I-T sleuths also houses of realtor Asetti Adi Babu and also businessman Dangeti Venkateswara Rao and reportedly seized some documents.
The raids are still going on when last reports came in.
