Bengaluru: The fast paced modern lifestyle, coupled with pollution and lack of sleep is taking a toll on people's skin and hair.

To battle these issues LEVER Ayush aims to tap the 5000-year-old Ayurvedic wisdom and make it accessible to modern day consumers to help solve their beauty problems.

The face of the brand, Tamannaah Bhatia, is a firm believer in Ayurveda and the Ayush brand. She believes that during summers one should follow a holistic beauty regime with the right kind of products.

She said, "Beauty is always supposed to be holistic in nature, whether it is taking care of your skin, oral hygiene, hair and even internal health. And Ayurveda offers that. I ensure that I use the right products and right ingredients for my overall beauty regime, be it a moisturiser, facewash or a hair product."

What I really love for this summer is the new LEVER Ayush Aloe Vera Cooling Face Gel. It has a unique blend of aloe vera and lemon grass, and this blend is from a 5.000-year-old recipe which makes it more efficient and more importantly authentically ayurvedic, she added.

The actress felt that the face gel keeps the skin clear of blemishes, dullness and other skin problems.

"I've always really appreciated LEVER Ayush and am proud to represent the brand because of how they bring forth this rich knowledge of Ayurveda to the masses through some great products and now with ayurvedic services at their Therapy store," she said.

Stressing on the importance of a good skincare regime in  summer, Tamannah said, "With the changing weather, it is important for not just attire, but our skincare products to change. It is very common for women to stop moisturizing their skin during summers, but it is actually all the more important in this season to save your skin from dehydration and dullness."
