Hyderabad student Sannihit Reddy's parents seek help
Hyderabad: The parents of Master Sannihit Reddy approached Balala Hakkula Sangham to appeal to the ministry of education and take action against the chief superintendent of the school, and to provide them medical expenses for treating Sannihit.
Sannihit, a Class X student of Bhashyam School, was writing the SSC examination at the Vidya Dayini Model School in Santoshnagar. He jumped from the third floor of the school building fearing that he would be booked for malpractice. The 15-year-old was injured seriously and is undergoing treatment at the Apollo DRDL Hospital. Doctors have suggested a major surgery for the boy.
“As the incident occurred at the examination centre please direct the education department to meet the medical expenses of the child,” wrote Balala Hakkula Sangham’s president Anuradha Rao to the deputy chief minister and education minister, Kadiyam Srihari. Anuradha Rao also wrote to the police alleging that “The chief superintendent was present during the exam and failed in providing care to the child.” The departmental officer and MEO should also be held responsible, said Anuradha Rao.
