CBI stand sought on Jagan Mohan Reddy's plea for exemption

The judge asked the CBI to spell its stand by March 1.

Hyderabad: Justice Raja Elango of the Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday asked the CBI to spell out its stand on a petition moved by YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy seeking exemption from appearing before the Special CBI court in connection with the illegal investments cases.

Mr Reddy said that he got bail by the special court on condition that he would have to appear before it in all the cases pending against him. Maintaining he had no objection in appearing before the court, he said due to the bail condition, he was unable to discharge his duties as a public representative effectively. The judge asked the CBI to spell its stand by March 1.
