Thiruvananthapuam: 1,000 projects on cards
Thiruvananthapuam: Cabinet has decided to celebrate LDF Government's 1,000 days in office in a big way from February 20 to 27.
Week-long programmes will be held in districts showcasing the achievements of the government. Development seminars and cultural functions will also be held as part of the celebrations.
Cabinet decided to announce 1,000 new development projects and welfare measures covering all 14 districts.
Three-day programmes will be held in all Assembly segments. The inauguration of new projects and the ones which have been completed would be held during this period.
The following ministers have been given charge of the districts for the 1,000 day programmes ; Kadkampally Surendran -Thiruvananthapuram, J. Mercykutty Amma -Kollam, G. Sudhakaran - Alappuzha, K. Raju - Pathanamthitta, M. M. Mani- Idukki, P. Thilotha- man - Kottayam, A. C. Moideen - Ernakulam, V. S. Sunilkumar and C. Raveednranath - Thrissur, A. K. Balan and K. Krishnankutty - Palakk- ad, K. T. Jaleel Malappur- am, A. K. Saseendran and T. P. Ramakrishnan - Kozhikode, K. K. Shylaja Techer -Wayanad, E. P. Jayarajan and Ramachandran Kadanap- ally - Kannur and E Chandrashekharan - Kasarogd.
