On minister Priyank Kharge calling the media terrorists, Mr Yeddyurappa said he seemed to be drunk on power and demanded that he apologise.

Mysuru: State BJP chief B.S. Yeddyurappa alleged on Thursday that the “commission” charged by those heading the coalition government in the state was making its way into Vidhana Soudha through agents.

Mr Yeddyurappa, who was speaking to reporters during his visit to Muththige village in Chamarajnagar taluk to study the drought situation, recalled that the man, who was caught with unaccounted for money in Vidhana Soudha recently, had confessed to the police that it was meant for minister Puttarangashetty. “I demand Mr Puttarangashetty’s resignation and an impartial investigation into this matter. Only if he is proved innocent, should he be inducted into the cabinet again,” he said.
