Bengaluru: The city's traffic police have made arrangements for Republic Day Parade, to be held at the Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground, Cubbon Road on January 26. It is as follows:
Invitees with Yellow Car Passes are requested to come on to Cubbon Road, enter Gate No.1 of Parade Ground and park vehicles on ground’s western side.
Invitees with White Car Passes and secretaries to the government, military and police officers, etc., are to use Gate No.2 and park vehicles on Western side of parking lot inside ground.
Invitees with Pink Passes should park vehicles at Main Guard Cross Road and Kamaraja Road, and enter through Gate No.3.
Green Car Pass holders are to park vehicles in parking lot of Shivajinagar Bus Stand and enter through Gate No.4 by walk.
Media vehicles, OB vans, DCP and above rank officers and other dept. senior officers should enter via gate No.3 and park vehicles on eastern side of ground.
Vehicles with participants should drop near Gate No. 1 and park on Northern side of M.G. Road, from Anil Kumble circle to Metro Station.
Emergency vehicles shall enter from Gate No.1 on Cubbon Road and park vehicles behind the Fort Wall (Southern Side).
Parking for two wheelers on Kamaraja Road, in front of Army Public School, Main Guard Cross Road, near Satina Plaza and enter Parade ground through Gate No.4 on Kamaraja Road by walk.
Those not having car passes can park vehicles at Shivajinagar BMTC 1 floor parking lot and enter ground through Gate No. 4 on Kamaraja Road by walk.
BMTC Buses carrying participants can park on M.G. Road from Anil Kumble Circle to Metro Station. (Northern Side).
The traffic will be diverted on 26/01/2019 from 08-30 AM to 10-30 A.M from BRV In. to Kamaraj Road Jn. (both directions) on Cubbon Road.
Movement of vehicles
The vehicles coming from Infantry road towards Manipal Center should move on Infantry Road Safina Plaza, left turn Main Guard cross Road Alies Circle Dispensary Road Kamaraja Road & Dickenson Road junction, right turn K.R.Road & Cubbon Road Jn., left turn Cubbon Road onwards to Manipal Center Jn. Vehicles coming from Manipal Jn. towards BRV In. on Cubbon Road will take left turn at K.R. Road in. towards Cauvery Art & Crafts Circle Jn. right turn M.G.Road Anil Kumble Circle, right turn BRV and go towards Central Street.
Vehicles from Anil Kumble Circle towards Cubbon Road will go straight on Central Street, right turn Infantry Road Safina Plaza, left turn Main Guard, cross Road Alies Circle Dispensary Road Kamaraja Road and Dickenson Road Jn. right turn K.R. Road Jn. left turn and Cubbon Road onwards to Manipal Centerjunction. Vehicles from Cauvery Arts & Craft Circle on M.G. Road going towards Cubbon Road & K.R. Road Jn. shall go straight on M.G. Road towards Anil Kumble Jn. right turn BRV Jn and move to Central Street.
Restricted items
Mobiles, umbrella, helmets, cameras, radio will not be allowed. All should be seated before 08.30 AM.
Traffic police appeal
Due to shortage of parking place in and around Parade Ground, public should take BMTC and Metro Service.
