Hyderabad: Five held from massage centre running illegally

The parlour owners recruited three women from Secunderabad to work as masseurs.

Hyderabad: Three women from Secunderabad were rescued and five persons including two customers were apprehended from an illegally run massage centre at Nacharam by the Rachakonda Special Operations Team.

Police raided a massage centre on Sunday evening and found that illegal activities were going on and booked a case.

The Malkajgiri SOT was acting on a tip-off about an illegally run massage parlour beside the post office in Nacharam on Sunday. They raided the place in the evening and rescued three women who were engaged to extend adult services to customers for money.

Inspector G. Naveen Kumar said the raids were conducted at Essenz Spa and Saloon, a unisex spa, where the owner P. Sriram, 32, had employed two persons, M. Manikanta, 28, and B. Rajesh, 21, to work as organisers.

They had recruited three women hailing from Secunderabad to work as masseurs to customers for money.

Apart from arresting the owner and his two employees, customers N. Nageswar Rao, 38, and Santosh, 26, were arrested.

About Rs 7,570 cash, four bill books, a catalogue, six mobile phones and three registers were seized, and the accused persons handed over to Nacharam police for further action.
