Cimmy best CBSE teacher in the state
KOCHI: Mrs. Cimmy Jose, a history teacher with Devama-tha CMI Public School, Thrissur, stands out as the sole recipient of CBSE Teacher Award from the State this year. A systematic and disciplined tea-cher she has been the role model for the students of the school by realising their potential.
Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal, Union Minister for Hum-an Resources Developm-ent, presented the certificate and a cash award of `50,000/- to Ms. Cimmy Jose at a ceremony held at New Delhi recently.
“Cimmy Jose is known for instilling in students the zest for exploration. Cimmy Jose could demonstrate that history classes can be made unforgettable using different pedagogical strategies. A total of 19 students of her got full marks for Social Science in the CBSE Class X board exam in 2018-19, under her guidance,” said Fr. Shaju Edamana CMI, Principal Devamatha CMI Public School. “She also led the Swatch Bharat fortnight programs 2018 as its convener. She conducted the CMI and CBSE Kalotsavs in an efficient manner as the convener of the committees for them. Cimmy officiated as a resource person for Social Science in Thrissur Sahodaya. Cimmy always appreciated the positive sides of students as much as possible in class and outside,” said Fr. Shaju Edamana.
