Mr Kalyan said that Jana Sena teams visited 48 worst-affected cyclone hit villages in 6 days and witnessed the failure of the government in providing relief and rehabilitation to victims.

He said that the area affected by the cyclone in Srikakulam was known as Uddanam, which was prone to large scale human migration in search of employment and affected by kidney diseases; hence this disaster should be treated as special case.
