HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao said that the state had clinched the No. 1 status in the Swachh Bharat Gramin Survekshan announced by the Centre on Thursday. "It is a reflection of the state government's performance and exceptional transparent governance," he noted.
The CM reiterated that the state government will move forward with a goal of building a Green Telangana by achieving 'Palle Pragati (rural progress)' with collective efforts. He expressed his happiness for winning 13 awards under Grameen Swatch Bharat Mission in various categories.
The CM congratulated the minister for rural development and panchayat raj, senior officers, staff sarpanches, MPTCs and village secretaries, who implemented 'Palle Pragathi'.
