V-P M Venkaiah Naidu to launch PS Varier 150 birthday fete

MALAPPURAM: Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Kottakkal Aryavaidya Sala founder Vaidyarathnam PS Varier at Kottakkal, here, on Tuesday. A year-long celebration also has been planned at the national-level.

Police has made all security measures for the VVIP visit. As many as 1,000 policemen would be deployed in the area and from Karipur airport to Kottakkal. Malappuram SP Abdul Karim U told reporters here that there would be some restrictions for vehicular movement during the visit.
