The protestors demanded that a government order be issued making mandatory payment of salaries within the first week of every month.
Hyderabad: Vidya volunteers working for the various government schools in Hyderabad staged a protest in front of the District Education Office on Monday demanding release of their salaries.
They pointed out that payment of their salary of Rs 12,000 per month has been pending since the last six months.
The protestors demanded that a government order be issued making mandatory payment of salaries within the first week of every month. They appealed to the state government that as and when recruitment of teachers happens, their services too should be regularised.
