Hyderabad: Junior doctors seek help desks at Gandhi Hospital
Hyderabad: Junior doctors of the Gandhi Hospital want creation of help desks on all floors of the government hospital as patients are having difficulty in locating various departments, following which they are venting their anger on doctors.
This suggestion emerged at a meeting they had with health minister Etala Rajendar on Monday.
The junior doctors also demanded an increase in human resources, regularisation of post-graduate stipends, and sanction of senior resident doctors for the Gandhi Hospital. The issue of security for junior doctors working in the emergency section continues to be a major issue.
The doctors maintain that the existing staff is not enough. The resultant inability in dealing with cases is thus leading to doctors becoming victims of the irate kin of patients.
