KUDA chairman warns of action against realtors carrying non-layout ventures

WARANGAL: Stringent action would be taken against the realtors who will do non-layout ventures, warned the chairman of the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA), Sundar Raj.

After learning that some of the realtors were selling the plots by doing non-layout ventures in the Panthani and Punnel villages of Inavolu mandal, the officials demolished the fencing laid across the land in Inavolu mandal of Warangal district on Wednesday. They did so on orders issued by the KUDA chairman.

The two realtors -- Lokesh and Sagar Reddy -- are carrying out non-layout ventures in six acres of the land in the survey number 26 of Panthini village and issued notices to them. The officials also demolished the fencing laid on the two acres of the land with survey number 81, in which fencing on the non-layout ventures too were carried out and also in the 20 guntas of the land with survey number 583 in the Punnel village. Notices were issued to the land owners.

Sundar Raj warned of stringent action against the realtors who undertake non-layout ventures and appealed to the people to inform the related departments if they noticed any realtor carrying out real estate ventures without a layout of the land, violating the rules.

“People should not fall victim to the realtors by purchasing non-layout plots as they will face problems in getting permissions for the construction of the house and for other basic facilities,” he warned.

KUDA would introduce a ‘Public-Private Partnership’ system under which the realtors can undertake new ventures. Recently, such a lay-out venture was attempted at under KUDA in Unikicherla village, he stated.
