Chennai: Actor Raghava Lawrence is among those in the cine field to join the list of donors for the Kerala flood relief.

He has announced to donate Rs 1 crore to Kerala, on Thursday.

“I have decided to contribute Rs 1 crore to Kerala. I am feeling very disheartened to see people suffering there. They are our brothers and sisters,” Raghava said.

Expressing his desire to personally join the relief works, he said, “I am keen on visiting the flood-hit areas in Kerala. Now that the rain has reduced considerably, I will be leaving for Kerala to do my best for them in person.”

He said he would go through the State government because they know which areas were affected. He would also be meeting Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in person to request him to allow him to serve the people in person.
