The state BJP president has approached the high court, seeking to quash the two separate FIRs registered based on a single complaint.

The court adjourned the case after the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) assured the high court that it will not take any precipitative action such as arrest and summoning Yeddyurappa in connection with the denotification case. Meanwhile, the investigating agency, further informed the court that the notice issued on August 21 to Yeddyurappa, to appear before it will be withdrawn.
The state BJP president has approached the high court, seeking to quash the two separate FIRs registered based on a single complaint, mainly on the ground that after the preliminary notification itself was quashed by high court, there was no possibility of him issuing orders for denotification.
Parole jumping
The HC sought a report with regard to whether the prison officials concerned have followed prison and other rules with respect to granting parole to 42 convicts, who later jumped it.
