Hyderabad High Court judgement on medical courses today
Hyderabad: The High Court on reserved its orders for Thursday on batch of petitions challenging a letter issued by Centre directing both the health universities in AP and TS to conduct common counselling for all seats of Neet-Super Speciality-2017 at the national level. It also reserved orders on a notification issued by the Neet convener asking colleges not to admit the students from AP and TS into any of the universities outside these two states.
A division bench comprising Justice V. Ramasubramanian and Justice T. Rajani was concluding the hearing on batch of petitions on these issues.
The bench while dealing with a petition by Dr B. Satish Kumar and 12 other aspirants for super specialty DM/MCh courses directed the NTR Health University of AP and Kaloji Health University of Telangana not to conduct the counselling till further orders.
Counsels for the petitioners told the court that after the interim order was delivered, the Neet convener had issued notification barring allowing students of both states in medical colleges in other states. The bench said that it will deliver its decision on Thursday.
