CBI must probe PSC job fraud: PT Thomas
Kochi: Legislator P.T. Thomas alleged on Tuesday that the Public Service Comm-ission has sabotaged appointment in 47 police sub-inspector posts and sought a CBI probe into the irregularities.
“In 2015, the PSC made backdoor appointment to 47 sub-inspector posts in reservation category ignoring the rank list published in May. The reservation posts in ‘non joining duty’ were sabotaged for political and financial gains, said Mr Thomas while talking to media.
The reservation rank list was for Dheevara, Ezhava, SC/ST, Latin Catholic, Viswakarma, Nadar communities.
“Corrections have been made in the rank list ignoring the High Court interim order and Administrative Tribunal order. The PSC has not published the appointment list even after the training for selected candidates has started which points out the serious irregularities. There are clear evidences of political interference in the appointment,” he alleged.
He has submitted a complaint to the Governor seeking CBI probe into the matter.
