Hyderabad: The Rachakonda and Cyberabad police commissioners on Sunday served showcause notices on film critic Kathi Mahesh in Bengaluru, seeking an explanation as to why he should not be externed from their respective commissionerates.
Kathi Mahesh, who is already facing extenment the Hyderabad city police, moved to Bengaluru. Following his externment, the city police externed Paripoornananda Swami also from the city.
The Commissioners of Rachakonda and Cyberabad have also issued externment orders against him for not responding to the showcause notices issued to him at Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh.
He has been asked by the police to be present before them within 48 hours of receiving the notices, and provide an explanation for not externing him.
