Tipper lorry overturns on flyover in Hyderabad

The driver and a motorist, who sustained minor injuries, were given treatment at a hospital.

Hyderabad: Two people escaped with minor injuries when a tipper lorry turned upside down while climbing the approach road of the Panjagutta flyover on Saturday morning.

The driver and a motorist, who sustained minor injuries, were given treatment at a hospital. Fortunately no members of the public came under the truck at the time of mishap. The mishap caused a traffic block.

The incident occurred in the morning. The soil laden truck rammed into a bike before turning upside down on the road.

"The truck was beginning to climb the approach road of the flyover when the driver lost control and it turned upside down," said an eyewitness.

Banjara Hills police said that no case was registered in the matter as nobody approached the police with a complaint. The driver moved the vehicle from the area with the help of the public.
