Hyderabad: A father and son were killed in an accident at Shamshabad when their bike was hit by an unknown vehicle. The deceased were identified as Ramesh and his father Jangaiah.
Police said, G. Ramesh, 30, a driver from Jalpally village went to Kondapalli village in Parigi mandal to attend his relative's funeral. After the funeral, he met his father G. Jangaiah, 52, who stays in the same village and found that he was ill. He wanted to get his father treated and they both started for Hyderabad on their bike.
“While they were passing through Palamakula village an unidentified vehicle hit them from behind and they flew into the air and fell on the other lane of the road,” SI N. Bhaskar said.
Both of them suffered head injuries and died on the spot. A case of accidental death was registered and the bodies were handed over after post-mortem.
