Kadapa: The district administration aims to complete the construction of village secretariat complex (VSC) in all constituencies across the district by July 8. The works at Marellamadaka, Chakrayapeta Mandal in Pulivendula constituency are complete.
Each complex will have a village secretariat, Rythu Bharosa Kendram (RBK), village health clinic, bulk milk center (BMC) and digital library, to expedite the implementation of welfare schemes and programmes for the people and to bring their benefits to the people. The government is yet to issue guidelines for the setting up of the digital library.
Kadapa collector Chevuru Harikiran inspected the progress of works at Badvelu mandal Anantharaju Puram on Thursday. The construction work, work on rooms inside the building, work on toilets, greenery, road construction etc were examined. The Bulk Milk Centre (BMC)and digital library would be located here later. The collector advised officials to allocate suitable space for such facilities. He also told officials to ensure quality in the construction works.
He took a round of the adjoining Anantharaju Puram village secretariat, inquired with the staff about the services there and took a look at the work being done at the Mandal Primary School in Lakshmi Palem village.
