Hyderabad: A group of TSPSC Group-I aspirants on Wednesday moved the Telangana High Court seeking postponement of the exam that is scheduled for June 11.

The Group-I preliminary exam was held on October 16, 2022, but the same was deemed cancelled after a question paper leak came to light. The authorities then rescheduled the test for June 11.

In the petition, a group of 36 aspirants sought postponement citing insufficient gap between any two of the Group I, II, III and IV exams, which are being held for the first time since the formation of Telangana.

The petitioners, seeking a two-month postponement to appear for all possible Group I-IV exams, also requested the court to ensure that no TSPSC staff attends the exam, given the recent question paper leaks.

The vacation court may hear the matter on Thursday.
