Tamilisai Soundararajan wants achievements list
Chennai: Alleging that there is no “transparency” in state administration, the TN unit of the BJP has demanded Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palanisamy to come out with the list of achievements pertaining to various departments since the last one year.
“There is no transparent administration in TN, Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palanisami should ask his cabinet colleagues to release the list of achievements made by them in their departments in the last one year, just as the union ministers had released the list of their achievements in the last three years,” Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, BJP State president said on Tuesday.
Asking the CM to direct his ministers to come out with their performance report, she said this could help to evaluate what has been done so far and what more needs to be done for the people’s welfare. “Corruption should be eliminated totally,” she added.
Tells TNCC chief to focus on his party affairs: Stating that DMK working president M.K. Stalin, VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan and TNCC chief Su. Thirunavukkarasar were against the Rajinikanth joining the BJP, Dr Tamilisai said Thirunavukkarasar, in particular seemed to be very concerned about the BJP.
“He should focus on his own party affairs instead. He says Rajini will form his own party. We have extended our invite to Rajini to strengthen our party, but are not solely dependent upon the actor” she said and asked what was wrong in bringing like-minded people together.
She flayed the police for using force on the anti-liquor protesters and said the need of the hour is to bring dry law in TN.
