Hyderabad High Court agrees to hear TRS MLAs' appeal

The senior counsel submitted that Mr Prashanth Reddy and 11 other MLAs of the ruling party has moved the appeal.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Monday agreed to hear the appeal on Thursday moved by TRS MLAs, challenging the order of a single judge in setting aside the expulsion of two Congress MLAs Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and S.A. Sampath Kumar.

Mr Vaidyanathan, senior cou-nsel of the Supreme Court, wh-ile appearing before a division bench comprising of Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Rangan-athan and Justice K. Vijaya Lakshmi, urged the bench to hear the appeal of the MLAs against the single judge order on Tuesday.

The senior counsel submitted that Mr Prashanth Reddy and 11 other MLAs of the ruling party has moved the appeal.

Responding to the submission of the senior counsel, the bench said that it will hear the case on Thursday regarding the maintainability of the appeal.
