The All-women police, Tiruchy Fort, arrested Diwahar and remanded him to judicial custody, police added.
TIRUCHY: A practising advocate of Tiruchy has been arrested under the Prevention of children from sexual offences (POCSO) Act for allegedly sexual harassing a Plus-2 class school girl at Beemanagar in the city on Friday.
Police said, the advocate K. Diwahar (30) hailing from Pasupathipalyam in Karur and staying at Beemangar, Tiruchy for practicing Law. The girl was residing on the ground floor of the housing complex, where the lawyer also took quarters.
The All-women police, Tiruchy Fort, arrested Diwahar and remanded him to judicial custody, police added.
